#1 Tital test, The tital limet is 77 chars. This is the first post of my new log system. This works by referenceing a text file at which i am typing this in. The text file will look somthign like this: > @1 > blog > blog > &1 > @2 > blog2 > blog2 > &2 and the php code will look for the start and end markers and numbers and post all that is in between them. Then it will move to the next post... So far i can create blank lines and special symbols, however, i cannot create titals. I can also bold and italicize and underline and I can link to things. Things i need to add to this script:

The ability to limet pages, and go to next page.
The ability to display titals.

I am firmly aginst most of the things christmas stands for, so I decided to subtely make fun of it with my family. im 300$ richer today, which is a good thing. To my step-mother carol, i actualy gave wrappign paper, wrapped in a long tube box. I dont think they picked up on it, but my point was, that the products nessicary to make christmas work are unnessicary. I love irony. To my father, i gave a gift wrapped in clear wax paper so you could see exactly what the gift was. I was makign fun of this sort of secrecy people have with gift giving. Why? Usealy the reciver knows what they are getting anyway.. why make it so complex with wrapping paper (which is extrimily wasteful) little bows, ribbons, and tags... To my step-brother, in order to make fun of how childish and immature he is, i gave a 12 pack of colorful childrens party wistles. I also put a gift card in a wrapping paper tube, in the center. It took a few minutes for him to figure out what exactly was going on. I gave lauren a gift card inside of a huge TV box with encoded messages all over it. It had a little circle cut out, which made it seem like you would put your hand thru it to grab the card. Yet the card was taped to the other end of the inside. It also took a few minutes to figure this one out as well. The inside of the box was filled with packageing peanutes and metal springs. i also gave lauren a box wrapped in aluminum foil that had all this packageing peanuts, and at the bottom was a package of "Mounting Squares" -- YAY MOUNTING SQUARES! whatever the hell they are Christmas can suck on my balls to be honest... I almost got into a car wreck several times today, once with this silver jaguar with kids in it. It made me feel pretty bad. I had an arguement with a friend of mine at Barns and Nobels today. By the way, that place charges you for internet access... I think thats the biggest load of crap... what ever happened to coffee places and free WAPs. Anyway, it was over the nessisisity of acedemics. I am of corse strongly aginst the school institution. Yet, I am not exactly sure why. I suppose I ought to devote more thought to the issue, its just i have always been aginst school... perhaps this is my dilusion. Still, my arguement was that I am aginst the people who belive that their GPA is their life. People who's class rank defines them as a person. People who become so diluded with their school work, they forget that there is actualy a world beyond the steel double doors of the school building. I think it is the nature of people like me, people who want to exploit life and reap its bounty with minimal effort, to despise the acedemic institution - but why? Acedemia is the path to enlightenment... right? Well, I belive it depends deeply on the mindset at which the knowlege is obtained. Does one learn for the sake of going to a good college? Or do they learn to have a better understanding of life? Im sure many people would quickly claim the latter, but do they really mean it? I think the bottom line here is to learn and absorbe as much raw information as possible -- through any method available, wheather it is in the form of a school, indipendent studying, etc. Yet, one should not let this acedemia dilude them into a carrier path, or mindset that strays away from the basic meanings of life. I think that is the problem with school. It makes it so easy to fall into grooves, to become specialized. School is opressive. When inside the school, constitutional rights no longer apply. Teachers force you to do what THEY want you to do -- at risk of social and financial problems. Yet still, it is nessicary for this sort of thing to ensure all students have a shot at learning. So... why then do I not like school? I used to not like it because I used to go to school with a student body at which only about 50% would go to college, 10% dropped out, and most really dont give a shit about anything remotely acedemic. I was annoyed at my inability to progress. I was supressed by these people who drug classes downward, and prevented us from learning faster. Yet, now, that is no longer the problem. I am in a school now where most people actualy care about learning. So why do i still hate it? Is it the fact that I am so used to hateing it over the years? I think my main problem with school is that it limets my freedoms. It is in its entirity an opresssive institution. From an article:

Strangly enough, he sounds familure, like someone I know. Perhaps im just over-anayalizing the situation, yet, one must take a look at this. This is not at all typical of an american family. They tell me that they are the ideal and most common form of family, and i must say, this is not common. I think that anyone who reads this will understand that the sort of closeness of this family is atypical for a 17 year old girl and a 15 year old boy. When i was 15, I sure as hell dident want to work on a puzzle with my mother on a friday night at 10:00. (ans still dont...). I think its safe to say that that is typical teenager behavior. When I�m smoking quality herb with some friends and they tell me that they�re tripping, I laugh, close my eyes, and smile, knowing that I�m so much higher than them I don�t even know the meaning of the word �trip�. People will tell you that you don�t trip on cannabis and that it�s not a psychedelic � and apparently a lot of people don�t. However, Erowid describes weed as an upper, a downer, a psychedelic, and an intoxicant even though some people can only experience certain effects. Marijuana is quantum like that: you have the possibility of getting one, the other, both, or neither. Some people get stimulated but intoxicated, or relaxed and tripped out. I can experience it all.

The optimization also allows for incredible upload speeds to be reached. I uploaded at over 200Kb/s at my school. The user permission system now works completely. There are currently 5 levels of permissions that regulate things such as being able to delete/edit/rename/move public files, view the media files, upload/modify/view files in other peoples personal folders, and modify development project files. the system also limits max upload size, file type, name format, among other things. When a user registers, his/her personal folder is created in /Users along with a private folder. In the private folder there is a hidden .htaccess file that prevents indexing of that page. The private page is also off-limits to all other users but the person meant to view it. Added new ability to be subscribed to certain dev. projects - soon i will have a page up where you can create your own, or ask to join another. Fixed bug with the size of current working directory at bottom of page. Fixed bug displaying 1 file(s) in empty folders. Fixed page title bugs. Fixed edit bug. Fixed the problem that arose when trying to delete directories with directories nested inside with files nested inside those. The delete function is now streamlined. Added a new feature that will list the files that you deleted when deleting a directory. Cleaned up register and activate code. Modified the activation process to be more secure. Increased bandwidth quota for server to 2500Gb/month. Increased server storage capacity to 250Gb. Fixed comment system so that comment bots don't spam me anymore. Purged all old comments. Page layout bugs fixed for IE Sizes for files and directories now will display the most appropriate size format - bytes/Kb/Mb/Gb. Fixed bug where you get a permission error when trying to upload/create inside a nested directory inside your personal folder.
